Since 2010 I’ve been a freelance cinematographer and lighting cameraman based in Suffolk. I’ve worked in just about every part of the industry, from TV and film to commercial, corporate and digital content production. My work has taken me to almost every continent and in my years I’ve had the pleasure of working for some of the UK’s biggest brands and agencies. Film and photography go hand in hand. I feel that having these complimentary skills along with a passion for storytelling enables me to take any brief and work with you in producing memorable visual content that connects with your customer.
Pin Gin is distilled in the heart of Lincolnshire by Bottomley Distillers. Studio Optic and I worked with founders Alan and Amy to create something which allowed their premium quality and handcrafted approach to shine through. Everything was handled in house at Studio Optic, an agency I’m proud to represent as Head of Film and Photography. We took our idea right from the concept, direction and cinematography through to edit, sound design and delivery. Turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy.
I was incredibly proud to be brought on board this project by At The Table Films and director Ross Turner as the cinematographer. Executive Head Chef of Holborn Dining Room, Calum Franklin is an inspiring chef with a passion for pies. We created this short film to delve into what drives him and his culinary creations whilst also touching upon the wider subject of British food culture.
